Before anything is designed, developed, or produced—there needs to be a solid foundation.
This stage focuses on defining your brand, identifying your customer, and building a product strategy that makes sense for your business. It’s where high-level ideas are refined into clear direction, including early sourcing considerations and what to launch first. Your brand DNA and product strategy becomes the foundation for every product decision you make, so you don’t waste time or money building the wrong thing.
Because the earlier you get this right, the more efficient everything becomes later.

Direction & Design
Once there’s a solid brand foundation, the next step is direction and design.
This stage focuses on translating your brand and product strategy into a cohesive design vision—before any full product development begins. From color, fabric, and silhouette to packaging and how your product shows up, we define the system behind your collection so everything works together.
Because without clear direction, design becomes inconsistent—and products lose impact.

Build a Cohesive Product Vision Before You Design
Best For:
• Founders with established brand DNA
• Brands lacking cohesion or clear aesthetic direction

Development of a clear, brand-aligned design direction:

Creatively Designed Collection Based on Brand + Vision

Development of a clear, brand-aligned design direction:

• Sketched designs
Deliverables:
• Design Direction Concept Board (shown prior to project completion)
• Color Palette Board (images only - actual swatches for fee)

• 2+ weeks (depends on number and complexity of styles)

• One brand / one seasonal collection direction
• Client must approve Design Direction Concept board prior to continuation of final project completion
• Up to 2 rounds of revisions (additional cost after that)

• Additional seasons & collections billed separately
• Number of styles in collection agreed upon upfront

Development
Once direction is established and design is complete, development is where everything is brought to life.
This stage focuses on translating your design vision into clear, production-ready products. From design development and technical detailing to sourcing and sampling, we define exactly how your product is built and prepared for manufacturing.
Because without strong development, even the best ideas fall apart in production.

Translate Your Designs Into Production-Ready Products
Best For:
• Founders ready to develop real products
• Clients preparing for sampling or factory outreach
• Brands with direction but no technical execution
Scope (per style):
• Technical flat sketches (front + back)
• Construction detailing
• Measurement spec guidance
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Fabric + trim callouts
• Stitching + finishing details
Deliverables:
Design Tech Pack (editable) including:

• Design construction details
• BOM (with as much material direction as possible)
